I had wanted grape leaves but they were out by lunch time.I went with spinach pie and a kebab wrap. The pie was very different from what I am used to,it was very thin and not flaky dough at all. The beef kebab was like a hamburger mixture,it was tasty but again not what I am accustomed to.The owner was very friendly and service was good.Overall not the Mediterranean I enjoyed living close to Dearborn Mi.Our food is fresh and made everyday of the week. Sorry you feel that way we at Cafe Sahara pride ourselves in making food excellent for our customers.

We sat ourselves as requested. Table needed cleaning and the waiter accomplished this by wiping off the table with his bare hand. Really? Rather disgusting. I would have left but I had a guest with me. It wasn't too busy at a time when it should have been. Bread arrived and the olive oil we requested was a grimy decanter from the O/V for a salad. It really didn't taste like olive oil. Waiter stopped by and dropped one of our forks on the floor, mumbled he'd pick it up later and never replaced it. We had to take one off of another table.Lemon-rice soup wasn't fresh at all. The salmon was actually a very thin, bone in, salmon steak. Very overcooked and served with plain yellow rice and thin sliced boiled carrots. The greek salad was good, the gyros just OK.I wouldn't return, basically because of the waiter. I wish the rice and veg was more Greek style.
