Worth booking ahead for Baerenâ¦..Had a delicious meal here..the beef cheeks were to die for. The menu has a good variety of Italian dishes....I fancied several from each course. An extensive wine list allowed the choice of a nice bottle without breaking the bank. Very friendly and helpful service

We did not know what to expect when we stepped down the cellar leading to this wine bar. Once inside, we were taken up by the lively atmosphere where almost all the tables were occupied. Our hostess, Elodie, originally from France, was helpful in advising us in our choice of wines and eats. We enjoyed a meat-and-cheese platter washed down by a great Italian red wine. To our surprise, we found that this bar is also a favourite place for not only tourists but also local people. If you are looking for wine tasting in Andermatt then this is the right place.
