Looked this place up after seeing it on TripAdvisor and must admit a great little find. My spanish is not excellent but enough to get by but the staff here were more than helpful even though English not their strong point they were very friendly. Decided not to go with the menu del dia but opted for 2 starters to share followed by 2 main courses and then icecream. Had 2 bottles of wine coffee and 2 Brandeis just couldn't believe the price. Excellent value for money. Definitely recommend it and certainly visit again when in the area.

An amazing dining room environment in the old castle. We arrived on a Sunday, and the establishment was packed with people. The bartender approached us quickly to arrange for our table for two. Frankly, I can't remember what we ordered or what we ate -- but I do remember that the servings were very large and were part of a "menu". I think this is the reason why this establishment is so popular: You get a starter and a main dish, a coffee, and a glass of wine for less than 20 Euro per person -- a good value experience, but I would not go out of my way to dine here again. There are enough other places in Alarcòn for something more memorable.
