If you are a foodie, this fanily run authentic Mexican cafe is a "must try". The mole' sauce is the best in town and the diverse menu is filled with incredible dishes that will not disappoint! My husband and I have always enjoyed going into the city to try different top rated restaurants but this has become one of our all time favorites. Enjoy the chilled orange margaritas... and the tres leches is to die for. A definite " must try" for any Houston foodie...Hey there, thank you for taking the time to leave a review and dropping a recommendation! Chipotle pork ribs, the beef & shrimp grill & the root beer here will make you come back for more! Look out for Carlos, he's the man that can suggest you options if you're undecided and wondering what to eat. Typical Mexican decor, ambience and for those wanting a home feel, they'll sing your birthday song in Mexican if you're planning on cutting your birthday cake there. Ideal for families with children, ample parking and great Mexican food!

I have been here at La Cocina de Roberto for more than 3 times and always exceed my expectations. Great hospitality from the owners, the food is great presented and its flavor is authentic mexican. The service is great and the prices are just fair ! I hardly recommend this restaurant!
