I discovered that place surfing on the net looking for a Peruvian restaurant in the region. We went to the Cusquena not really sure of what to expect as we appreciate very much the true traditional Peruvian cuisine and we had been in the past disappointed by other restaurants that pretend to serve Peruvian cuisine while offering some fusion-type of cuisine or even cuisine from other countries. In La Cusquena, we were not disappointed. After a couple of piscos and an Inka-Cola, we ordered a Lomo Saltado, an aji de gallina y un seco de carnero ("navarin d'agneau"). Portions were of a good side, the service was fine and it was nicely decorated with a lot of typical artifacts from Peru. We will definitely go back to get a taste or Peru here in Luxembourg.Gracias amigos, simplemente queremos mostrar nuestra verdadera cocina peruana. Hasta la vista. ;))

We walked by this place several times over our 2 days here, but came back based upon the TA reviews. We were certainly glad - for many reasons - that we chose this place. The staff was excellent, including the combination of waitress and hostess who retrieved my wife's bracelet after she lost it at the table and held it until we returned (kudos!!). The second floor dining room is quite nice, with a view of the street below. We ordered margaritas (their house special and a traditional) and both were excellent, as was the huge serving of quacamole. My wife had the chili con carne and said it was delicious. I had the enchiladas de espinacas, which was not as spicy as I had expected, but still quite good. We recommend this place. Go. Enjoy.
