Discover Restaurants offering the best Latin food in Indian Trail, North Carolina, United States. Indian Trail is a suburban town in Union County, North Carolina, United States. Founded on March 12, 1861, the town holds a history of traders traveling along the "Indian Trail," which ran from Petersburg, Virginia, to the Waxhaw Indians, and gold mining. Indian Trail was first a farming community; however, German and Scot-Irish settlers began to move into the area due to its geographical location. In 1874, the Seaboard Coast Line Railroad was built between the cities Charlotte, North Carolina and Monroe, North Carolina. The railroad, which runs through the town, brought prosperity to the area. Indian Trail was incorporated as a town in 1907, with established city limits based upon a one-half mile radius from the intersection of Indian Trail Road and the Seaboard Railroad. Indian Trail has grown rapidly in the 21st Century: a 2011 CNN article stated that Indian Trail's census count jumped from 1,942 in 1990 to 33,518 in 2010. Every Fourth of July the town holds an annual parade which is one of the biggest parades in the Charlotte metropolitan area.

We so enjoy this place and will go to any one that we can find and I want to try everything on the menu. Daily specials feature some fun combos of food you might not ordinarily try - so check that out. Prices are inexpensive and food portions are large, and all of it is so tasty if you are a Latin food lover! Service is friendly, fast and very helpful if you need some of the dishes explained. They were doing a booming lunch business at this location, but we still were able to find a seat and food came out quickly. It's not super fancy, but it is good!

What a great treat to have an authentic Colombian meal. My wife and started with jugo de lulo (delicious) and beef empanadas followed by splitting a bandeja paisa. So good. Service was great and we were treated to free patacones and a tinto! What good service and food!

The food is great, very rich and it is served quickly. The menu contains mostly Venezuelan plates, such as arepas, empanadas, hallacas and pabellón. But they also have Colombian and Cuban items. Their Cuban sandwiches are famous. They also have all day breakfasts. You can have your meal with any of the natural juices and imported soft drinks from their selection. You can also buy snacks from Venezuela, such as chocolates, wafers, and the flower for making arepas. Do not expect much from the ambience, it is a small place with only four tables and the food is served on paper plates, but their prices are low too. The quality is in the food. The attention is also very good, the owners are friendly and will make sure you are happy with your meal.
