In my opinion, it's just not as good as the old days... the food is still good but... not THE BEST!! The taste is good and better than more commercialized places... portions are in the same range as other places... prices are slightly elevated but not too bad. Drinks are good and decently made. In all, still a good place but not deserving of the rave reviews it had once deserved.
A get together of friends and family. Good chips, guacamole, and salsa. Everybody enjoyed their margaritas. I haven't been here in almost 20 years and the place is still the same. Casual and quaint. Our dinners ranged from burrito suizo, enchiladas, combos and tacos. Food was good and everybody enjoyed the evening. The owner stopped by our table and he was very friendly. I would give Don Pedro's a 3 1/2 star
Stopped to get dinner and decided on El Mariachi and we were not disappointed. Tried tacos, enchiladas, quesadillas, tostadas and mango margaritas. Yes a sampling feast! Service was quick and everything was tasty. Prices were moderate along with portions. They even served the lunch menu during the evening (this a plus and allowed for more sampling). When all had been tasted and we were stuffed, the bill was less than $40 and we had a nice serving of leftovers. We will be back!
