Pancho's Mexican Grill

Pancho's is a great restaurant. You like good Mexican you'll need to stop here. It's a small place with about 10 tables, but cozy enough. We had Chicken Mole and Chorizo Taco. Both were excellent in flavor and not heavy on the stomach. They had wonderful Guacamole also.... I make great guacamole so I'm picky. Their guacamole was just the right amount of heat and good flavor.

Despite its plain façade (and overly bright interior) this place serves up about 5 pages worth of delightful Latin American dishes. Had the Salvadorian dish and it was exquisite. Great steak with nicely crisped Yucca, wild rice with black beans and my now new favorite side dish "Pupusa". Sorry, you have to go to find out how good it is. The server also recommended a pickled Sauer kraut-like condiment. Wow - nice and tangy and went perfectly with the dish I had. The selection was huge and the price (mine was about $12.99). I had two sodas (this place has no liquor license) and plenty of left overs to take home and my total with tax came to $17.00! What a deal. They cater to mostly the Hispanic local crowd but the staff is pleasant and quite willing to explain the many dishes they have on their robust menu, definitely worth a visit!!

This was a really nice find! The food was fresh and authentic. My husband had Chicken Fajitas with black rice and beans. I had Carne Asada with tostones and black beans. Both entrees were delicious. We shared a corn and cheese plate appetizer....the corn is from Peru and it had jumbo kernels. It was an affordable, pleasant adventure. The waitress was lovely and the service was reasonably fast. There were many customers there this afternoon sharing a meal or picking up a take out order.
