Come here for the pupusas, they are amazing! It is difficult to find a place that makes pupusas and extremely difficult to find a place that makes them so tasty. I'm pretty sure anyone would leave happy with whatever they get. I don't have a negative thing to say.

We were really hoping for a good Mexican restaurant to eat at when we didn't feel like cooking. Unfortunately Don Chilitos didn't fit the bill. When I leave the restaurant saying I could have cooked the food much better and with more flavor, there is something wrong. I was with my in-laws, whom I love, but think salt is too much spice and they even thought Don Chilitos was flavorless. Our search for a good Mexican restaurant continues.

The food is authentic and very tasty. I tried the Mofongo, which was served in a wooden bowl. The staff and owners are friendly. A little on the spend side but you won't find this type of authentic Caribbean food anywhere else in the Metro Portland area. It is worth the trip into Beaverton.
