Chicken and steak are very good. I really liked the meat, chicken was the best. Large portions. 2 people can share a plate so it is a great value. Counter service was friendly and helpful, happy to explain the different veggies. Large selection of veggies, local fare.

After seeing the Ohana Inn Restaurant sign from Farrington Highway we decided to try this place for lunch on Sunday. We were greeted very kindly by Christie and sat at a table by one of the large freezers that line the wall. (a former seafood market occupied the space). The interior is fine and they can spruce it up as time goes by. It is clean and that is all that really matters. We asked for hot tea, and she sincerely apologized that they did not have any, but about 6 minutes later she appeared with two steaming mugs of tea! That is the kind of service that will bring me and others back! BRAVO! The banchan (side dishes, usually kimchee, potatoes, etc),arrived and unlike the variety pictured outside the restaurant it was kind of sparse. I'd highly suggest that the new owners should not skimp on these as it is an important part of the experience. Also make sure that your servers offer more as the dinner progresses. I ordered the stir fried squid and vegetables ($12.95), my friend had the Ohana combo($11.95), with kalbi, bulgolgi, bbq chicken and meat jun as well as rice and mandoo. my a stir fried squid and vegetables was excellent. I had ordered the sauce medium spicy and it was exactly as described with tasty vegetables and a good amount of squid. My friend's combination plate was very good, and with a few minor fixes would be absolutely fabulous. Both the meat jun and the mandoo were good but they needed to be cooked a little longer so that they were more crispy. the chicken, bulgolgi and the kalbi were very well seasoned and cooked to perfection. After Millions closed for lunch and raised their prices almost 50% I am very happy to have a new Korean go to spot. I think with time the Ohana Inn Restaurant will do well.
The food here isn't very good and I'll probably never eat here again. Don't confuse this with real Korean food because it's not. There are other good Korean restaurants near by. The food is flavorless compared to real Korean food that has a lot of flavor. The only other places that are worse is Yummy and Pearl Korean BBQ.
