Ordered shrimp entree take out for the 1st time.Got home to find the rice and salad missing, guess I should have checked!!!Miso soup must be an acquired taste. Yuk, mine lubricated the garbage disposal. The shrimp and mango entree was pretty good and could have been a decent meal with the rice....

Stopped here with a daughter for a sushi lunch. We each ordered the two roll lunch which comes with soup and salad (American green). I passed on the soup and had the salad with a tuna avocado roll and spicy salmon roll - both very good but I have liked these rolls better at other places. My daughter had a clear soup and a seaweed salad (light green shreds and already dressed and extra in price). I tasted her salad and it was very good. She enjoyed her two sushi rolls and comes to this restaurant frequently with friends for their specialty sushi rolls. Staff were attentive, business-like and polite; smiles from the servers would be appreciated.

When Kobe first opened my wife and I came in to eat at the bar, when we walked in the bar area the bartender never addressed us and ignored us for ten plus minutes, the bar had about 6 people and his orders from the dining area were slow, the manager finally asked us what we wanted and we ordered thru him, we love the hot plum saki, and as we are huge tuna lovers we always order the tuna wasabi dumpling, this susgi appetizer is worth just coming in go to the bar, and order these with a cold beer!we also ordered miso soup, avacado salad, tuna tataki and then ordered the volcano roll and the two thumbs roll. The food here is excellent, but the service still lacks as our appetizer came out before the soup (we were told they were making a new batch of miso soup but the place was not crowded so not sure about the reason) the entrees came out and we had to have the manager get our soups and other appetizers, he made it right as he did the second time we went there, ordered pretty much the same but the bartending was slow and service again was lacking in the bar area, , but the food is worth it so we would go back...and hope they right the ship in the bar area.
