Other people have definitely discovered this place but it's still a hidden gem. Food is fresh, delicious and affordable, with pleasant atmosphere and good service. The only thing I would suggest is going just a little lighter on the sauces for the Hibachi and Kitchen Fusion dishes we had at our table, but still, they were delicious. I had the scallop Hibachi and the scallops were fresh, melt in your mouth, and more plentiful than many of the local restaurants. We will definitely be returning, and two at our table have been there before, returning frequently. This is a favorite spot for one of them, a discerning eater!

If you're looking for the kind of sushi dinner you'd expect in Hawaii or California right here in small town upstate NY, your pathology is well beyond my assistance. For the remainder with more reality-based expectations, Sakura has great food at good prices. No hibachi, and the venue is on the small side. Also, best Philly Roll for 100 miles in any direction. Staff is very attentive. My wife has some quirks when it comes to sushi, like wanting to use the salad dressing instead of soy sauce. The staff have gotten use to this, and FYI I highly recommend you try it.

My husband and I went to the Kampai restaurant recently. We made a reservation for the Hibachi grill. Glad we did, as it is very popular. Our chef, Justin, was GREAT ! Very good at cooking and enjoyed talking with the customers and answering questions. It was fun having dinner with total strangers - because by the end of the meal, we found out we had a lot in common. The food was VERY good. Overall, we highly recommend this restaurant - nothing negative at all to comment on.
