Hubs and I came to Thurmont to buy a fresh turkey from the Hillside Turkey Farm. Not being from the area we asked for a recommendation for lunch. Fast service, fresh food and very generous portions!! You can't go wrong!

We called in our order on a Friday night for a couple hoagies and had to wait 50 minutes before they were ready for pick up as they were "slammed". My 12" Steak & Cheese Works Hoagie ($7.99) came with lettuce, tomatoes, mayonnaise, fried onions, green peppers, and mushrooms. The large 12" inch hoagie only costs $1.40 more than the small 8" inch hoagie so it makes sense financially to go with the bigger one. I like to add jalapeno peppers to mine when I bring it home for an extra kick.
Where to eat American food in Thurmont: The Best Restaurants and Bars
Fast food restaurants are not my first choice but sometimes you don't have a choice. The service is good and the food is what you expect from any pizza hut. I recommend when they have specials.
