I just cannot explain how good the pizza is at Mama Dar's. I seriously enjoy a good pizza and I have had them not only around the US, but around the world. Mama Dar's is in my Top 10 world wide pizza places. To be totally honest I was very skeptical when I was told how good theirs was, but then I tried it.

The building was rebuilt after a fire in 2015. It is nicely designed and furnished with a variety of seating options. Outside there are covered and uncovered tables that overlook the parking lot. Inside there are many choices: regular height long bench and tables with chairs on the other side of the tables, a long, high bench and high bar-tables with high bar chairs on their other sides, regular 4–person tables and 4-6 person booths suitable for as many as two parents with up to 4 small children. The high bench faces the full bar that has three TVs mounted above it. The full bar looked like it had over a dozen beers on tap. There is even a separate party room off to the side which can accommodate private parties of over 30 people at 4-person tables. Our server, Alex provided us with excellent service throughout our meal, clearing the things we were finished with (even our straw wrappers) and checked a couple of times that all was well with us while ensuring our drinks didn’t run low. His attentive and courteous service improved our enjoyment of our dining experience.First, we received delicious yeast rolls with parmesan or romano cheese and slathered with garlic butter. There was even a little butter in the bottom of the brad basket to dip our rolls in as we ate them. My wife’s tossed salad was the second thing out. It was made with romaine, iceberg and spinach as a base with red peppers, cherry tomatoes and what tasted like delicious pickled tomato strips. We both enjoyed it and were relieved it didn’t contain any arugula. Our entrées arrived and my small (10”) pizza was artfully prepared with the pepperoni and sausage evenly placed around the pie and other ingredients scattered evenly over the surface. My wife’s veal Marsala suited her to a T. The only thing we didn’t like was the sweet iced tea, which was far below our standards.
