I was visiting family in Poultney and arrived for dinner. A Poultney House of Pizza "house special" was waiting for me. I was the best pizza I have eaten in a very long time. Since I'm from New York, this is saying a lot! It was perfectly cooked with so many different toppings. I especially liked the crust, which had an extra flavor - not just an ordinary crust. I will definitely eat another one of their pizzas next time I'm there.

We visited Dancing Ewe Farm for dinner on the last night of our honeymoon. It was one of the most wonderful dinner we've ever had -- the beautiful location, and delicious food, and the incredible/warm hospitality made for such a lovely evening of celebration! We really enjoyed Jodi's tour of the farm at sunset, drinking delicious wine and appreciating the tremendous effort that clearly goes into running the farm. Dinner was incredible, Luisa and everyone working in the barn made us feel right at home -- we left the evening with our bellies full, hugging people we'd only just met on our way out. I can't say enough good things about this Saturday evening dinner, we will absolutely be back, and have already recommended the Farm to all of our friends. It's a bit of a drive from Boston, but absolutely worth it for us! We stayed nearby at the Sheldon Mansion, which was lovely and made for a wonderful, beautiful, and memorable evening.

The owners run the restaurant and their grasp on the English language is limited. Also, the owner's hearing is poor so ordering correctly was difficult. They were very nice though. Go for the pizza or better yet, order takeout pizza.
