Shiplap walls, White pillars, old-world styles - ambiance was neat and typical of any good Italian restaurant. It was a pleasant surprise in Norfolk.We ordered four pasta dishes, including a shrimp Florentine, and all of them turned out very well. The Mascarpone cheese lemon cake for dessert was the best. What I liked was the waitress said she could switch the meat and vegetables in any of the dish on the menu. Plenty of vegetarian option to explore.Service was good and felt very intimate. I would definitely stop here again for dinner if I visit Norfolk.

Here at Valentino's we offer buffet, full menu, or carry-out options to fit your needs. We are the experts in pizza and pasta but we offer other great items on our buffet including a soup & salad bar, dessert bar, and even a taco bar! Come on in on Sunday

Arrived about 1,was seated right away, buffet was stocked with fresh food that was very good, service was ok not great, booth seating needs new padding otherwise was an enjoyable time. Rolls were great as usual, pizza was fresh, ice cream good but table not stocked well.

We recently dined there with a party of 16 for our anniversy, Service was really slow, it took us nearly 2 hours to complete the meal. I noticed other diners had a long wait between ordering their food and actually receiving the food. It took 15 to 20 minutes to receive your desert after ordering it. They only had 2 servers for the entire resturant on a Saturday night.As far the food, it was not too bad, but some of it arrived at the table cold. The bread baskets never arrived until we asked about them halfway through the meal and the water or drinks took forever to be refilled.I would not had left a tip, but with a party of 8 or more, they add a 18 percent grauity,Not recommended due to the poor service.
