Reviews on Italian food in La Ceiba, Atlantida Department, Honduras. La Ceiba (Spanish pronunciation: [la ˈseiβa]) is a port city on the northern coast of Honduras in Central America. It is located on the southern edge of the Caribbean, forming part of the south eastern boundary of the Gulf of Honduras. With an estimated population of over 200,000 living in approximately 170 residential areas (called colonias or barrios), it is the third largest city in the country and the capital of the Honduran department of Atlántida. La Ceiba was officially founded on 23 August 1877. The city was named after a giant ceiba tree which grew near the old dock. The dock itself finally fell into the sea in late 2007. The city has been officially proclaimed the "Eco-Tourism Capital of Honduras" as well as the "Entertainment Capital of Honduras". Every year, on the third or fourth Saturday of May, the city holds its famous carnival to commemorate Isidore the Laborer (Spanish San Isidro Labrador). During this time, the city is host to approximately 500,000 tourists.

This is a wonderful little spot just off the main road. The Cubano was excellent. Nice place for a romantic dinner (or lunch) if you can catch them while the kids are in school. Excellent service. Probably would've given this place a Very Good rating if it hadn't been for the nursery atmosphere (seemed like they may be running a daycare from the restaurant).

I've had pizza there a few times - always Very good! Lasagne last time, yummy, but I wished I'd ordered pizza again. There's a pool which you can pay to use and just a nice relaxed place to eat.
First bistro in La Ceiba, you can enjoy a delicious Honduran coffee, a refreshing tea, a glass of wine or a choose a delicious homemade-like meal from our menu.
As I was looking for a restaurant that was suggested to me, I parked in front of this place, it did look different but looked new and nice, so went in with the family. We liked their decoration, music w soft, waiter was very nice all the time and answered all questions. They have a variety of sandwiches, my family had the Argentinian, it was good, it came with fries. I had the pasta, very good also. They have free wi fi, bathroom was very clean. This seem to be a good place to have good coffee with good desserts, wines in the evening. Again all sandwiches look good.Nice location close by the DâAntoni Hospital.
