My wife and I were invited to have lunch at this restaurant by friends who live nearly and who frequently dine there. It is only a relatively small restaurant and clearly very popular so I suggest that a reservation is essential. We were made very welcome: the staff were very friendly and efficient and the food was extremely good. It was an exceptionally enjoyable visit and when we are next in Flers this restaurant will certainly be on our itinerary.

Ate here on a night out with work colleagues and we weren't disappointed. Whilst the staff couldn't speak English very well they were very polite and helpful and we just about got through the night. The ambience was nice and the decor of the restaurant was Not too in your face although slightly on the basic side. It was busy with pretty much all tables being used when we walked in. The food was well prepared and good sized portions. The desserts were lovely and filling! I had profiteroles and I couldn't finish it! My colleagues ordered the wine recommend to then and they enjoyed it. All in all I Couldn't really find a fault with the experience and it wasn't tremendously expensive either. Definitely worthwhile visiting if you are in the area. We had pizzas from here for lunch too for a business working lunch so it seems they are revered by the locals too.

La Toscane is run by Lisiane and Denis who take pride in producing great tasting and reasonably priced Italian food on the main road into Flers from Caen.They have special lunchtime offers and they also make a thing called a pizza soufflée which is absolutely fantastic
