Three of us dined at Latitude 48 in Whitefish, Montana, while on vacation. If I lived in Whitefish, I'd be eating here nightly. The food, service, atmosphere - everything - was fantastic, from start to finish. We did not have reservations, but put our name in for a party of three. We went downstairs to their lounge, where a fantastic jazz quartet was playing. Our waitress was friendly. I asked if the bartender could mix a non-alcoholic cocktail for me that incorporated their popular huckleberries; the drink was fantastic! Refreshing and crisp. Our table opened up for us and we went upstairs and were seated at a very nice table. The atmosphere is exposed brick, candle light, white linen table cloths, reminiscent of a European bistro. There is no dress code required, and casual to formal would fit here. The food was fantastic. For starters we had the Hummus, which was excellent - smooth, fresh tasting, with delicious crunchy chickpeas as a garnish. We also had the Fig Salad, which was also excellent - fresh, tender greens; the three of us shared the starters. For dinner we ordered the Tagliatelle, NY strip, and Steak Frites. Each and every dish was fantastic - well prepared, seasoned perfectly, clean tasting, with portions that were generous without being excessive. This is one of the best meals I have had while on vacation, ever, hands down.Wow! Your kind words are fantastic. Thank you so very much for taking the time to write this lovely review. It is amazing to hear such fabulous feed back. We hope if your vacation ever brings you back to Montana that you will reach out again. Thank you for sharing your Fantastic Experience. Cheers.

The Firebrand Lounge serves breakfast, lunch, dinner, and offers monthly "Wine School" and pairing dinners. Our lobby coffee shop offers fresh-baked pastries, espresso drinks, specialty teas, smoothies, and locally roasted Montana Coffee Traders' coffee.
Came in to listen to local musician John Dunnigan who played every first Friday of the month during ski season. Iâm not sure if this is an all year event. John draws in the crowd so come and grab a table early. Food was good as was service. Recommend you give it a try.
