So for a little reunion my partner and his friend and his wife made a reservation at this establishment. Apparently it;s their favourite steakhouse in Zurich vicinity, The restaurant sits on a beautiful spot next to a little castle/ mansion. The view from the terrace was stunning. But it was cold mid-September's eve, so outdoor seating is out of question. All 4 of us ordered different cut of meat and sauces. All satisfied and maybe a little regret on my part for ordering the smallest cut, mainly because i am a slow eater, really really slow, but otherwise everyone was happy. The service is prompt and efficient. Our waiter speaks both German and English, so no problem there, either. Portion was generous and tasteful, we had to forgo the dessert for coffee. Will definitely refer to friends to try it if they happened to be in Uster, for some reason :)

We stopped here on one of our first nights in Switzerland and were thrilled with the food, ambiance, and service. We wish all restaurants that followed were as good. The atmosphere was SOO European (a thrill for us Americans), and yet we had no problem figuring out the menu. Ehrcon (please forgive the spelling) was a wonderful host and chef. I highly recommend this restaurant.I thank you from heart, for your fine words and good ones over our house. I am named ERKAN, but this is ok, too. We hope - you had a good time after visiting us, in your other places of holidays in switzerland! - and yes: Fantastic holidays. I hope you will visit us again. You were very nice guests!Erkan

This restaurant deserves the two Michelin stars. Chef Heiko Nieder is brilliant in his presentation; the dishes are beautiful to look at as much as they are delicious to eat. He manages to blend well ingredients from all over the world into his dishes to have a memorable dining experience. Highly recommended.
