Visited recently with 2 friends on a Thursday evening . Really nice laid back atmosphere, Super service , ( very knowledgeable on red wine ) , with a varied menu . We had wings , mushrooms and salad starters which were all very tasty as were the prawn main courses . Good value for money . They also do a great brunch with something for everyone at weekends - served up unto 4pm which is brilliant . Highly recommended.

Gastro pub in waterford city centre.
Our first restaurant while visiting Ireland. The Gingerman is hidden somewhat down an alley, but its worth searching out. Great food dishes with large portions, and a great selection of beers. On our visit they did seem to close fairly early (6pm) for a Saturday, am unsure if other days are open longer.
