Big hotel, had loft room with twin beds upstairs and sitting area downstairs. Rain was predicted and very accomodating with our bikes. Public bath 950 m away. Restaurant upmarket, French style food with Japanese touches, excellent service, quite serious. Breakfast same style, as delicious as dinner. View of lit trees surprising.

We had vouchers for this breakfast place and it was very good They had a comprehensive selection of traditional Japanese Hokkaido style food and the best omelettes done in a square pan that Iâve seen and eaten. You could always select some more traditional Western style foods but the bacon never seemed hot but I thought it was tasty The standout fruit was fresh orange and mandarin segments dressed with a sweet dill sauce.The staff were fantastic and greeted you with great big smiles every morning.One feature that made us laugh was the calling out of fresh deliveries to the buffet and then repeated by all the chefs and servers it was a hoot.
