Sometimes restaurants are incomprehensible. The conclusion I have to reach is that the Augusta Grill is slipping, I hope it catches itself before it too becomes a common eatery that overcharges for badly cooked food. Tonight's complaints: I ordered the fois gras pate. It was very dried out, virtually inedible. I said it was a little dry, the manager said he hears that a lot!!! Hello, fix the thing, stop serving it dry! Second, the greens that came with the meal were perhaps meant to appeal to those folks who like as much bottled salad dressing as possible on their greens. Except, salad is SUPPOSED to be barely dressed. AG is supposed to be a good restaurant, and they are supposed to know that, and the diners are not supposed to be surprised by getting such a badly over-dressed inedible salad. Third, my husband's meal was overcooked - he used the word "tough" about the meat. There's more, I'll save you the details. My bottom line on the Augusta Grill is that it is no longer a first class restaurant where food is prepared and served precisely perfectly. It is now a wanna be good restaurant offering a strange menu and putting together the dishes in a manner that is hurried, careless and inattentive to the finer points of great dining. The people are very nice, the service is quite acceptable, the food is really so-so. They have done much better, I hope they will go back to their old ways!

California Dreaming serves up giant-sized portions of much-loved American classics like mouthwatering, âfall-off-the-boneâ baby back ribs, slow-cooked Prime Rib and the California Dreaming Salad â loaded with ham, turkey, cheddar and jack cheeses, eggs, t
Visited this location on July 22 @755P for dinner and had the crab soup and the California Dreaming salad. Both dishes for filling and satisfying.Service was horrible! I waited 15 minutes for my soup appetizer then another 15 minutes for my salad. Poor communications between the kitchen and the runners. The sad part was the restaurant was not even busy at that time!Great food...but don't eat here if you are expecting prompt service

Velo Fellow is basically below the Mellow Mushroom, but you won't find Italian on the menu. However, you will find a very generous portion of Fish and Chips, as well as numerous other interesting dishes at a very reasonable price. They serve several interesting beers, as well as common spirits. The ambience is very casual, and some of the easy listening music dates back decades. It's an interesting and somewhat unusual people-friendly restaurant.
