Gusta is part of the Texel boutique hotel. As a whole a nice atmosphere. The recent updo works. Stylish and comfortable. The restaurant nicely fits into the what the hotel wants to be. It is clear that there is quality in the kitchen, both in terms of people and of ingredients. No need to give examples: everything is delicious. The only problem is that the little mishaps then are rather painful. A hair on the plate. The missing ice cream in the desert. The really really tiny amount of caviar in a starter that announces caviar and a suplement to be added to the bill because of it. And the time between courses is simply too long. But the tournedos Rossini is fabulous with its melting bad bad goose liver and the truffle sauce. More truffle perhaps?So yes, go there - also because the urge to not make even the tiniest of mistakes hangs in the air.

The dining room in the Boutique Hotel Texel is superb. The atmosphere is somewhat upscale pleasant, food delicious, and attentive service. The dress is casual. Like many fine restaurants, they didn't start preparing the main course until we finished our appetizer. If you want to move a little faster, tell your server in advance.

Enjoyed an evening dinner with the family, 6 adults and 4 children. Pleasant welcome and nice setting. Had a main course and desert. In general well received, good food and wine and extras when requested. All ok, a little cold for the ladies upon entering but no issues alltogether. Recommendable for this level and price.
