Exceptionally attractive outside and in, a charming, small restaurant which also can provide bed and breakfast. Lovely, civilised, atmosphere and smartly and appropriately decorated. All food is truly locally sourced, whether it be rack of lamb from the butcher up the road or sea bass from Chesil Bay. Our meals were beautifully presented and delicious, service and value for money excellent, and we would return to try other things from the menu.Great to hear you enjoyed your meal with us, we are fortunate with our suppliers and indeed the bass is caught by someone from our village who drops it off on his way back home, we hope to see you again soon!

Welcoming tea and cake pit stop during our travels around Dorset and Somerset looking for family history. Particular mention to the many gluten free cake options for my coeliac husband. I rarely give five stars but, based on our experience on Monday, Bath House deserves it.Lovely staff, great service and good food - one of the best Beef Rendangs I've had in years and my mussels to start were also good. The MemSahib had very good scallops and a lovely chicken breast in a wild mushroom cream sauce. Okay wine list. So far a good four star experience - but anyone who chases after me half way down the street to return my phone (duh!) deserves an extra star IMHO.
