This is a lovely bar. The service is excellent and the food sublime. The menu is based on local ingredients. The seafood chowder is a particular favourite of my daughter and itâs more like a meal as itâs full of fish. My favourite is the chicken, pesto and sundried tomato sandwich on granary bread. They also have a nice wine list. This place is always full but the service is so good they will always accommodate youHi Sharon,Thank you so much for your excellent rating and very kind review. Gearoidins is a small cafe come restaurant in the main street of Clonakilty. An understated gem known by the Locals for its excellence, super-charged charismatic & hard working owner (Geraldine) and the freshness of everything that comes from the kitchen. So the Locals do not spread the word as this dining gem only has seating capacity for c 25 guests. We particularly love Gearoidins for its scones but there is a daily array of tempting cakes and savoury dishes such as crab meat sandwiches, soups etc. Really worth a visit. You will fall in love with the staff, the food and the prices

We arrived back late to our hotel and it was too late to avail of dinner in the hotel or any of the local restaurant/ pubs. We decided to get a pizza from here and it was very nice indeed did the job for fast food when in need. Big pizza only â¬14
