Butter poached Maine lobster over angel hair, Pistachio Crusted Lamb chops, Seared Diver Scallops and Grilled Salmon Nicoise are just a sample of what diners might experience at the Hartstone Inn. Steps from Camden harbor, Fodor's considers the Hartstone
Top notch menu and staff. No wonder rated #1 in Camden. We had the seafood sampler as starter followed by the wild rice crusted haddock - both were simply outstanding. Their limited menu means that everything is done just right. The chef/owner, Michael Salmon, came out and asked us how we enjoyed the meal - such a nice, personal touch. We responded affirmatively and enthusiastically. Don't miss this one!!Wow! Thank you Charles, I am thrilled to hear that you enjoyed your dinner with us. Hope to see you again soon.

Open on Sunday evening, this place seemed an obvious choice and we were delighted with our meal.Located in a small road just near the town centre, there is some limited parking as well as outside seating (but no water view). The menu is really interesting, the chef has clearly put a lot of thought into producing interesting dishes. My wife loved the lobster ravioli as her main course, and my cod with pasta was well seasoned with herbs and spices. One pleasing thing about this restaurant was the table water. Weâve been travelling through New England for the past 5 days, and this is the first time the (free) table water had been filtered and didnât taste of chlorine! The staff were very good, knowledgeable about the menu and very friendly. The price was on the âhigh sideâ but not a complete surprise in such a charming and popular location.Overall, thoroughly enjoyed our meal.

In Good Company is a small restaurant featuring very fresh ingredients. We very much enjoy their appetizers. They have a good wine list and attractive options for entrees. A local halibut dish had a very flavorful corn and mushroom bed. Unfortunately, the halibut was somewhat overcooked, which is not difficult to do with the tender fish. It is not as tasty when that happens. The front room has a metal ceiling and it became quite loud the night we visited as a group of four at the bar was talking loudly and some other tables had voices that carried or raised their voices to be heard. Noise management is something to pay attention to.
