This is Parkhotel's restaurant and during the course of my family's stay with them whenever they visit me here in Bad Schallerbach (I'm currently undergoing a month of cardio-rehab after undergoing an open heart surgery), we have celebrated two separate birthday parties in this lovely garden restaurant. The first was last August 15, 2015 during my Aunt's 65th birthday and just last week August 28, my sister Angelica's 38th birthday. On both occasions, our family and friends were extremely pleased with the quality of service and the delicious food. A bit pricey tho' but worth every penny!!!

Just eaten here this evening and wanted to add my commendation to what is an excellent restaurant.Attentive staff even brought me a copy of National Geographic when they realised I was dining alone this evening.Started with speciality Mushroom served, served warm into my bowl at the table. followed by exquisite wild boar and finished with a marvellous selection of Austrian Cheeses.Ok so at 50â¬ it wasn't the cheapest meal in town, but for a really elegant treat I would highly recommend Lowenkeller when next in Wels.

I would highly recommend this restaurant if you are in the area. The ingredients are carefully selected and the meat canât be any more fresh and tender. I also really enjoyed the service and the atmosphere of the restaurant. Definitely my favorite restaurant in the area!
