Things to do in Bloomington
We proudly served Japanese, Indonesian, Chinese Food ( Halal ). We have variety of dessert like, Tiramisu Mille Crepe, Matcha Mille Crepe, Durian Mille Crepe. We also accept Mille Crepe Pre-order .
My wife and I came on a Saturday night based on the recommendation of friends, and we were not disappointed. The restaurant is in a refurbished house just a block away from Bloomington's bustling downtown. We were promptly greeted, and, for most of our meal we were the only diners in the restaurant, although they seemed to have a brisk carryout business. For an appetizer we had the Sate Babi, skewered pork marinated in Indonesian sauce. The pork was well-prepared and sauce appropriately spicy, but not overbearing. I had the terriyaki chicken as an entree and my wife had noodles with chicken. Both entrees were tasty, well-plated, and portions were appropriately generous. For dessert, they have a selection of crepes with various fillings. We opted for the Tiramisu crepe, which was presented as a stack of crepes with filling layered between each crepe and cocoa to top. The owner, who came by reasonably often to check on us during dinner, told us they make the desserts in-house. Cafe Bali is a bit off the downtown beaten path in Bloomington, but worth it.
