Visiting and working in Japan at Camp Zama, and was shown this little place one block from the sobadai Mae station. It became my favorite lunch spot! Good curry, small but filling portions. Reasonable prices, esp at lunch. Great naan! I will go regularly til I leave Japan....

市役所の近く。小さい店だけどいつもお客さんがいっぱい。12時すぎて行ったら15分位待ちました。カレーは3種類どれも￥900。スパイスのきいたインドカレー。独特の苦みがありました。そんなに辛くは感じなかったけど、クセになる味。食後にチャイのサービスもあって嬉しかったです。

We had a wonderful first visit here with our family of four. The food was a bit more refined than other Indian restaurants we've tried. Portioned were perfect and the price was very reasonable. We enjoy the subtle flavors of Japanese food, but crave robust, exciting food like that of this restaurant. Even our young daughters ate and are asking to go back, which is unusual! Easy access from the train station or driving--parking nearby. This will definitely be one of our regular spots!
