This restaurant serves authentic and delicious South Indian food. Located on the old William Penn Highway, it is within easy driving distance from anywhere in Pittsburgh. One gets reminded of any restaurant in South India by the inside ambience. Service is courteous and friendly, pricing is reasonable with great value for money. I would very highly recommend this restaurant to anyone in and around Pittsburgh and who craves to eat good South Indian food.

Iâm spoiled when it comes to Indian restaurant food, having spent a good part of my youth in Britain where the most common take-out dish is chicken tikka masala. I now live in one of New Jerseyâs vibrant Indian neighborhoods. I havenât yet found an Indian or Pakistani restaurant in the Pittsburgh area that meets my admittedly demanding standards, but a few are worth trying, including India Garden. A companion and I went there recently for the buffet lunch. This strip mall restaurant has a rather gloomy dining room, but, eyes on the prize, we tried to concentrate on the food. It was pretty good and the selection was well-balanced. I appreciate the lack of chemical additives of the sort one finds in chair restaurants. Both carnivores and non-strict vegetarians should be contented.

Convenient location in Monroeville with adequate sitting space and decent ambiance. Had lunch buffet with my extended family. Choices of food items were quite elaborate and goofy was absolutely delicious. Customer service was friendly and pricing was reasonable. Would certainly very highly recommend this restaurant to anyone visiting Monroeville.
