If youâve been having the same sort of âblandâ food for a while and youâre craving some flavour, then this place will satisfy those cravings. The popadoms werenât great, and staff werenât as attentive as they had been in all other places. We waited ages for the food and the bill however the food was ok overall. The chicken tikka masala was also ok (not the best).The toilet was dreadful even though the restaurant was empty - things like that kind of put me off.

The only reason this place is getting 3/5 is because it was so ridiculously hot inside the restaurant. They had about 10 fans blowing but they just circulated boiling hot air. When weâd finished our meal and walked out in the street, we realised it was a lovely cool evening. The onion pakora had a great texture and the naan was perfect. Chana masala has a strange texture but others may like it.

We decided to visit this restaurant on our last evening in Lamai. There was only one other table that had 11 customers at it.We ordered our food and sat patiently waiting for the starters to arrive. After some apologies from the staff for the delay, 2 of the 3 starters arrived and immediately the main courses arrived. We ate everything on the table and it was very enjoyable. When I went to pay I got a sob story from the staff about the delay and how the other table had mixed up their bill by each person paying separately. I then had to point out that we were left short one starter and we did not receive some of the smaller items on the set menus.
