The souces are quite tasty, but the quality is bad. Dishes are too expensive for what you get. The chicken curries i've tried were just chicken rice and souce - no vegetables. The place is dirty, the table cloths are stained and it is difficult to find one wothout crums.

Great and authentic Indian meals prepared by chefs from North India. Good portions and great selection of dishes. Many vegetarian options. Good families with children. Very nice and friendly owners and Indian waiters speaking fluent Polish. We keep coming back on every visit in Poland. Highly recommend!

The Tadz Mahal Restaurant in Zielona Gora is situated at the centre of Zielona Gora and there is free parking directly outside after 4pm Monday to Friday and all day at the weekend, however it may be safer to check the signs yourself to be sure.We visited the restaurant on 29 October, we had booked a table for 8 people at 7.30pm. When we entered the restaurant our first impression was that we had been transported to the Indian continent and the striking decor and aroma of spices more than prepared us for our dining experience. We were greeted by a smiling waitress and shown to our table. There were about 5 other tables of diners and the restaurant had a good atmosphere in general. Prior to our arrival we had looked at the menu online and written down our food choices so when the waitress came to take our order it was an easy process. We shared 2 mixed platters between 8 although each platter is actually for 3 people but it was more than adequate for us. The starter plates were beautifully decorated with dried coriander powdered stencilled designs of either an elephant, a mandala or a flower. Our main course choices were chicken garlic tikka, chicken Kadai, chicken tikka masala, butter chicken, chicken mango, and you can choose to have either rice or naan with your meal. We ordered lagers and tea to drink as on our last visit the wine we ordered wasnât very cold. Portion sizes are generous and everyone thoroughly enjoyed their meal. The service was good and our waiter spoke English which was helpful to those of us who canât speak Polish. The waiter kindly arranged to put the food we didnât manage to eat in a take away box for us.Our overall impression was very good with reasonable prices. This is not our first visit to the Tadz Mahal Restaurant and as on other occasions we had an enjoyable dining experience and look forward to returning.
