We are rookies when it comes to Indian food, but with the expert guidance of Linda, we had a fabulous dinner here at Haldi Chowk. Standouts were the nice and spicy Chicken 65 and the lamb vindaloo. We were fortunate to meet the owner Deepak and he offered to create our next meal here at this wonderful small treasure of a restaurant. Weâre looking forward to taking him up on that adventure.Highly recommended!!

East meets West at Bombay River. First generation, family owned, authentic Indian cuisine with modern sensibilities. Delicious food and attentive staff make this a must try and must repeat! Bring your appetite and take the journey.
Not an Indian Food expert by any standard, but always like a nice change of pace. Large family dinner was a very enjoyable night. Typical BYO setting, good crowd created nice energy without approaching ânoisyâ. We had a party of 8, so tried a variety of dishes. All were above average and a few excellent. Lamb dishes were a little over cooked for me, but I am medium rare or bust and since we were going âfamily styleâ, I did not specify. Out of crab appetizer which was disappointing and took a little while to âget attentionâ, but once we got rolling, service was great. Spice levels were balanced which worked well for the group. A few of us looking to go back and see how much heat they can bring when we donât have to hold back. Definitely worth it, good value and will be back.
