Delhi Palace Cuisine Of India Serve Lunch Buffet And Dinner Served Alacarte Menu Open 7 Days Week 11 To 2.45 And 5 Pm To 9.45 Pm
The last time we ate at their other location was 10 years ago. We swore we'd never go back. We were sick for days. Yesterday, we found out they had changed locations, and wondered if they were under new management... so we took a chance. We didn't have much time to eat, so we had the buffet. Everything was awful. Any fried things were cold. The sauces were unbelievably salty, so was the dal. The Chicken Tika had bell peppers cooked with the onions. Bell peppers? Why? The mushrooms had a weird texture and oily sauce. Even the rice felt weird in the mouth. The yogurt raita was thinned with water, and the flavor tasted like none I've ever had. Funny thing is, raita is so simple to make and hard to mess up, but they managed. Even the desserts were inedible. The rice pudding was clotted and old, the mango pudding was too thin to eat with a spoon. The balls in syrup were coarse and knotty inside, instead of smooth and finely textured. The syrup the balls were in was too sweet. I ate one bite of most of my choices, and let the waiter take my plate away. For anyone who gave them more than 3 stars, may I recommend you try authentic Indian food? The flavors are exotically exquisite, and not like they came from a can. This makes me think of Tex-Mex or Chinese buffets, offering burritos or chop suey and chow mein. There are no such foods in Mexico or China, just as most of the dishes at this place can not be found in authentic Indian restaurants. This is nothing more than all-you-can-eat pretend Indian fast food made for American taste buds, and bears no resemblance to the real thing. Honestly the worst food I've had in months. And I've been to some terrible places lately. Went to bed early with a belly ache. Woke up with one too.Although it was all buffet style get-it-yourself, the waiter was very attentive until it was time for the bill. We had to walk ourselves to the desk. The smell was getting to me, and I wanted OUT of there. Last but certainly not least, there were babies crawling everywhere for some reason. Seemed like recess at the baby farm. One was hanging over the back of our booth, poking my hubby in the head and back while he tried to eat. Moms and Dads were completely ignoring toddlers (from about a year to 2 years old) and giving them the run of the area we were unfortunate enough to sit in. We were stunned. Has child neglect in public places become an okay thing now?

A new favorite! Chicken Tikka Masala and Saglamb Lamb dish, medium spicy on both. Great kick without killing us! The flavors are like a party in my mouth! We started with Chicken pakoras, A loved them, I was indifferent, not bad I just like more flavor. The Naan was sublime, light and crispy. A said the Mango lassi was good too! Very attentive and professional service from the servers to the bus woman! Weâll be back!!!
