Had a very pleasing dinner at this restaurant by the beach. Having visited India on nine occasions I have enjoyed some excellent Indian food, this place holds its own very well. The service was efficient, intuitive and genuine. The food was very enjoyable and the servings surprisingly generous. The restaurant was meticulously clean. A fantastic restaurant that we would gladly eat at again. Thank you for ur genuine feedback.Mangotree Family love to see u again.

This is the best Indian Restaurant in the Illawarra though arguably not quite on par with the best in UK. Good value especially taking the specials, but the "hot" curries lack punch. I did point out that my normal madras/vindaloo in Bradford suggested I was used to spicing but the result here was rather tepid. Maybe Australians eat curries that are more subtle than national characteristics might have led me to expect. Modern decor as this is a recently opened place. Service was friendly and everything that could be required. Highly recommended!Thank you for your review. We booked for 6pm, sat outside and were served pappadums and chutney almost immediately. Our onion bhaji came soon after- delicious!! Our main courses of chicken and beef followed at appropriate time and the chees naan was excellent, as were the main courses. We have eaten at many Indian restaurants , including in India on several trips, and were both impressed by the quality of the food served. A special thank you to our two lovely waitresses, one from Ernakulam in Kerala and one from the Maldives. Wonderful. Friendly and welcoming service
