I started off my recent Asheville vacation with an al fresco lunch at Chai Pani, an Indian street food restaurant that has gotten rave reviews. Because I was there when they opened, I was seated immediately. (A line had begun to form a bit before they opened, as this is a popular spot!) Before long, I was tilting back my head in the breeze and savoring the sloppy jai, an intoxicating little pair of sandwiches featuring stewed lamb flavored with cilantro, onions, ginger, a tiny bit of heat, and all kinds of spices. There's a lot going on in these little sammies! They were fantastic and filling. Service is prompt and very friendly, and prices are more than reasonable.

Our first time and had a fantastic meal at Blue Dream! Sat at the bar and had terrific, cheerful service from the bartender. Food was hot, beautifully presented, and quick! Had SUPER crispy, flavorful lumpia and pork masala with Naan. Other reviewers are ABSOLUTELY right. The Naan is AMAZING!

We’ve dined here multiple times over the last few years and have noticed that some things are the same but others have changed. In our opinion, the food and portion sizes are good; however, the service has declined. Our waitress seemed to spent more time frequenting the bar to converse with both the bartender and another employee who appeared to be off work and and eating dinner. She did not seem to enjoy serving customers which was very apparent. Management needs to take a closer look at who they hire as it can reflect on the total dining experience. We will be taking a break from this venue for the short term.
