We moved to Cornwall in June but have only just found the time to pop to The Cornish Vegan for treats. Previous visits have been on holidays. Itâs also always been sunny weather before so it was a treat to stop by and get cosy in the beautifully decorated interior , rather than sun it up in the gorgeous outside section. We opted for soup of the day which was red lentil and chickpea. You get a huge bowl full with toasted seeds, plus three slices of bread and what tasted like in house churned butter. Really filling and tasty. We also had chips on the side to share which were chunky and delicious. We had to have dessert with my partner on walnut and chocolate brownie with ice cream and I had Cornish cream tea for two. I could only finish one of my soft delicious scones with strawberry jam and clotted coconut cream, I felt sooo sick but it was so worth it! Partner loved his dessert too. Will definitely be stopping by in future for more tasty food. A real favourite. Thank you so much for the lovely review. Called in today for bite of lunch. Settled for fresh crab sandwiches and cream tea. Sandwiches and Scones are to die for and the generous helping of jam and clotted cream had to be seen to be believed! Absolutely delicious and served by two of the nicest ladies you could ever wish to meet. Try this little gem, you wonât be disappointed!Thank you for the lovely review - it really means a lot to us when our customers take the time to leave such kind comments. As you know, Rachel bakes all our scones and cakes from scratch fresh every morning because we think thereâs nothing quite like homemade cake! Become a regular since opened. Serve by far the freshest and best toasted teacakes whenever purchased. For a change they can consistently serve up poached eggs as I like them. Firm white but with soft yolk that bursts out on cutting. Eggsellent!!
