Went in for a quick lunch on our way further up north. Great little "hole in the wall" style place with a single inside table for seating. Brilliant for takeaways, but in our case we were lucky to be able to occupy the table and enjoy our lunch. The food served is classic vietnamese - fresh rice noodle salads, bahn mi and pho. Great bread for the bahn mi, and the five spice tofu filling was really pleasant. Only criticism would be the slightly reserved flavours. The chillis had no heat, the amount of coriander was sparse and the do chua pickles were quite safe (not the super pungent kind). Sriracha sauce was available for me to add for a bit more spice, but to really bring the food up to the next level I would throw away any cares about offending the local palets and show off the strenght of flavour I normally associate with vietnamese.Still, excellent value for money and probably one of the best takeaways you will find in Linköping. Highly recommended.

Top 10 European food in Linkoping, Ostergotland County, Sweden

This is a deli styled restaurant suitable for healthy eating and for take-away. They are part organic and KRAV Certified. The KRAV-label is a Swedish standard for organic foods that go passed the EU organic labelling. It has it's foundations in a sound, natural environment with solid care for animals. So, all fish must be MSC and meats organic. The dilemma is that the not ALL items are organic. The soy beans are not for example. Even tough GMO Soy is not allowed in the EU most of the Soybeans are Non-EU agricultural and there's no control on imported goods (it's up to the producers to make sure they do not sell GMO or GMO contaminated crops). So, if anything should be Organic it ought to be the soy-beans. Hope this will change. With all that said the salad I managed to compose was tasty and filling. Feta cheese, eggs, Quinoa, salad, cucumber, beets, sunflower seeds and broccoli - Greatness! I hope Häslofreak (Health Freak) keep raising their standards with more organic produce and they'll be a five star restaurant in my book.
