... and it turned out great! Went for the premium roast (ie. Yakiniku) meat set that costs 6,800yen per pax that includes basashi (horse sashimi). Thought I'll leave the first english review.

We visit Kumamoto for the first time and have no idea where to eat. Then we ask the local people for nice ramen and they recommend this Ramen shop which is quite close to Kumamoto station (5-7 minutes walk). At first we were not very enthusiastic as the shop is very small and located in small street. However, we decided to try and ordered 3 types of Ramen with Gyuoza for 4 person. The ramen were surprisingly excellent , the noodle was very good, the soup quite thick but not oily and the chashu (pork) very soft and tasty. Most the all the price was quite cheap less than 1000 yen for each Ramen bowl. Higly recommend for Ramen lover.

This restaurant has fabulous, tasty and tender beef for their shabu shabu meals. For the quality, prices are reasonable.
