I ordered a takeaway on Sunday arrived to collect it at the time stated and I was still sat in the middle of the restaurant 30 minutes later which was slightly uncomfortable The food although very tasty all seemed to taste the same and the portions are very small so if you are big eaters donât botherI may give it a second chance but certainly wonât be rushing back We are sorry to hear that you wasn't very impressed with your take away order . We do review all the comments to make sure that we always maintain the highest standard . You have mentioned the time line of 30 mins late , we do apologise that you had to wait which was around 20 mins ( we have reviewed your waiting timing ). We are happy to hear that you liked the food. You have also mentioned it all tasted the same . We are known for our mixed and extraordinary blended flavours . Next time please do let us know so that we can cater to your taste . Our portions are good and are priced very reasonably .We hope to see you soon .

BEAR is an independent coffee house, kitchen and bar situated in a beautiful ex-bank building on Stone High Street. We serve speciality coffee, fresh food, cocktails and craft beer.
We went yesterday for a bottomless prosecco brunch, four of us. We pre-booked for 11am. The food was delicious, I ordered the shakshuka and it was heavenly and came with ample sourdough toast. My friends all had the Bear Breakfast which they enjoyed. Only comment is that they don't have baked beans on the menu, a staple of British breakfasts! Not that it would stop me going again, just a small observation. The food arrived quickly after ordering, it only took about 10 minutes. I had expected our glasses to be topped up by staff when we were empty, however that was not the case; we were left a bottle on the table to help ourselves which staff swapped in good time when it was empty. Service was friendly and the place is nice inside. I'd certainly return (hoping to repeat the experience) and would recommend to others.Hey Katy,Thanks for the lovely review! I'm so glad that you had a wonderful time with us - bottomless Prosecco brunch is the best way to spend a Sunday, especially if shakshuka's involved! :DIt's great to hear that you all enjoyed your food and the team looked after you so well too!Hope to see you again very soon :)Best wishes,Hattie
