Reviews on Grill food in Torquay, England, United Kingdom. Mild ocean breezes, sandy beaches and swaying Torbay Palms give the small English town of Torquay a distinctively Mediterranean feel. More than just a beach spot, Torquay boasts an enormous coastal aviary and the famous Kents Cavern Prehistoric Caves. Agatha Christie spent most of her life here, and the city is now home to multiple film companies. With such a rich literary history, Torquay may be the perfect place to finish writing that novel or screenplay, or just to relax with a good mystery.

Went mid week for a birthday meal. Great welcome, orders taken and drinks served within minutes of arrival. Our Host/owner was 1st class and our starters arrived promptly. Delicious food well presented. Then onto the mains , the steak was superbly cooked and tender, my burger was exquisite, the best Iâve had in the bay. Cocktails and drinks were to point and a lovely relaxing atmosphere made for a great experience. Thank you to the owner and the chef for making the night a great one. Highly recommended

Your friendly, traditional, family run cafe serving good hearty food at good value prices, an excellent menu awaits you or just simple choices such as toasties for that much needed snack. Call in for traditional English breakfasts, snacks or lunches, teas
Popped in here after a 3 hour drive, never been to this area before. Lights were on, people sat inside eating so I thought, fab Iâll go in here for a cup of tea and a comfort break- as I approached the counter, staff just staring at me like I was from another planet- âweâre closedâ was the response I got. It was 2.30pm on a busy Thursday afternoon in this little village. I was then shown the closed signs on the door, among many other posters/flyers etc which youâd have to look hard to spot. So I left and had my cuppa elsewhere- and very nice it was too. Maybe this place gets tourist fatigue in the summer? Iâm not a tourist, Iâm here with work but not a very friendly first impression. Very odd experience all round. Thanks, your comments are clear to us, their are 2 signs clearly displayed on the entrance door and side of entrance to help all our guests they are equally the same size as our menu displays in the main window and both very clearly state last orders are 2.15 pm l not sure what flyers you are referring to. You asked to use the facilities and then order a drink. The only couple remaining was actually preparing to leave. We are disappointed you feel this way and all of our extremely loyal and local customers are always delighted with our service levels along with the tourism trade.
