Gutes Fastfood und sogar Mittagstisch (durch die Woche) wird hier angeboten. Noch keine (sicher aber wenn der Neubau fertig ist) super gemütliche Imbusbude. Ab und an holen wir uns was zum mitnehmen.Die Auswahl ist riesengroà und die Preise ok. Alles was ne gute Imbusbude braucht. Dazu noch nettes Personal und der Laden läuft! Und das schon seit vielen Jahren. Weiter so!

Marco Polo is a bit off the beaten path - it sits just on the other side of the church in Kalkar away from the Market. They have two terraces, one at the front, and one, sheltered in their walled garden. The interior is light and with lots of classic oak beams and el fresco paintings. In the winter they have a roaring fire to give that cosy homely feel to the place. The hosts welcome all their guests and you can sit in the main room, the medieval cellar or the 'op kamer' The menu is varied and offers a rich choice meat, fish and vegetarian dishes. In addition to the international kitchen there are seasonal dishes. Everything is freshly cooked by the competent kitchen team. Can thoroughly recommend this lovely place.

Dined here with colleagues, French onion soup for vorspeisen was very good, wine Dalmatian Plavic was just ok, steak fillet was pleasant wirh jacket potatoe and garlic butter, potato was not quite cooked and lumpy. Skipped desert, enough said, return no, as El Dorado around the corner is in my view much better.
