This steak is so amazing, you will consider retiring in the village just to go here on Fridays. They also have a rack of lamb, and prime rib if you can get it. The other food is really good, too, but who cares about that when you can just eat the best steak you've ever had in your entire life! They grill it on this hand-spun rack over an open fire pit and the service is great.

IF you want famous Idar-Obersteiner Spiessbraten, you can get a great one here.... all varieties of meats: pork, beef, chicken, duck..... Served with a nice salad and a choice of potatoes, to include baked potatoes.... They also offer some nice specials.... the last time I went I had a wonderful salad with skewers of wonderfully seasoned shrimp! It was fabulous!!! The owners are "on the ground" and are very pleasant. The wait staff is wonderful! they have a fabulous "bier garten"----a wonderful place to enjoy a meal outdoors. Nicely decorated!!!

Wir waren mit 12 Freunden im Gasthaus âZum Schlefferâ.Wir hatten HÃ¤hnchen vorbestellt. Nach Vorbestellung werden die HÃ¤hnchen mit FÃ¼llung serviert und top gegrillt.Die HÃ¤hnchen haben super geschmeckt. Die anderen 4 haben Schnitzel , sowie Hamburger gegessen. Auch die waren top. Fazit : Normale Kneipe mit leckerem Essen. Top.
