We had mussels starter which was delicious and courgette stuffed with mint and anchovy which was bready and tasteless. This was followed by tuna tataki which was overwhelmed by the soy and was rather uninspiring. The pork chops with prune and chicory was ok. Our general feeling was the ambiance close to the kitchen felt canteenish, and the standard of cooking was consistent or balanced.

This is a meat restaurant! The grill is in the restaurant, so you will come out smelling of carne. We had an excellent meal here, good local wine list, very helpful staff. The manager, as of this writing, is Pasquale. We would definitely go there again. It is a little tricky to find, however, as it is down a side street (do not rely on Google Maps).You are right, This is mainly meat restaurant, however some pescatarians and vegetarian will find dishes suitable for their dietary restrictions. We are happy that you have enjoyed local meat prepared on our charcoal/ wood grill and service from Pasquale. We went here twice through an arrangement with our masseria (hotel) for an evening meal. The food was stupendous, the price reasonable. The antipasti alone (12 dishes?) was enough for us and contained a wonderful selection of local Puglian specialities. Very warm welcome. First class!
