We are a large, family run public house serving excellent food and drinks. We have a large beer garden surrounded by fields for the Summer and a warm open fires for the winter.

We went to the Maypole for my daughters birthday today. Three of us had the pie of the day, and my wife had the tartlet. The dinners were very very tastey, all served with lovely fresh veg. I can certainly recommend this pub, very friendly staff, and a great atmosphere

Really nice place to while away an hour. Tucked away in a working boatyard/marina. Just had tea and cake today but will definitely be popping back to sample some of the other delights from the small but appetising menu. Staff were super friendly, balcony seat would have been great in warmer weather.

Great find, whilst looking for a fish & chip restaurant. Takeaway with small seating area with good ambience and lovely helpful & friendly staff. Disappointed there was no plaice on the menu. There is a catch of the day and gluten-free and non-fish options. Quite different menu, with interesting sides and tried coleslaw with parmesan, cauliflower popcorn, smoked salmon fishcake, all delicious. Kids eat free 4-6pm Mon-Fri was an added bonus. Parking on street in parking bays.
