We had a terrible experience at Naxos Bar and Grill yesterday. We never received our appetizer though the restaurant was virtually empty. Further, the chicken souvlaki was over cooked, the food on the plate was barely warm. As for the salads, though the dressing was good, there was hardly any feta cheese, and two little olives. It was mostly lettuce, and this was also true of the chicken taco salad.With respect to failing to bring our appetizer, i felt the restaurant could have offered a small discount off the total bill for the inconvenience, say 10%. Instead, the added a charge for a small modification to the order.

This location has always been overlooked in the past. Restaurants would pop up then disappear. Melizana has broken that run with a winning recipe of ambiance, delightful food and relaxed dining. The mushroom garlic chicken is to die for! Generous portions, nice setting and gracious hosts. I feel it is best suited for adult dining and business lunches as it has just the right amount of seating to make it intimate and very upscale in its decor. Thank you very much for your review and the rating.

Pleasant atmosphere, nice decor......lots of window booths. The service was great, prices good, and the food was delicious. The Greek salad was a nice size for one person and the chicken souvlaki was one of the best I've had anywhere. The pita was fresh and not too buttery. The chicken was tender and there was just the right amount of fillings. Great lunch!
