Reviews on Greek food in Dresden, Saxony, Germany. On the banks of the lovely Elbe River, the German city of Dresden is lush and green, filled with forests and gardens and parks. The city is rich with cultural and artistic history; the great operatic composer Wilhelm Wagner debuted a number of works here in the 1800s and, today, an independent light opera company keeps the classical art form modern and fresh. Culture vultures will love the Gemäldegalerie Alte Meister and Grünes Gewölbe museums, and architecture buffs will salivate over the mélange of styles reflected in the cityscape.

After several nights of having convenience food for dinner it was time for a proper meal. This one was a winner thanks to your recommendation ....it was helpful that they had an extensive English menu to choose from too as unfortunately we donât speak German. It was well priced too.

I love Greek food - especially since there are hardly any Greek restaurants in New Zealand - so every time I come home (or travel somewhere else for that matter) I try and fit in one visit to a Greek Restaurant. We found this restaurant through a google search as the normal "local" that my family goes to was closed. Now the Irodion will be our new "local". Staff are exceptionally friendly and with a good dose of humor and banther - food comes promptly and there is a choice for everybody - slight changes are no problem at all and most importantly it tastes good.We booked a outside table and since it was a rather warm evening that was perfect. We will definitely come here again! If you don't have a car and are staying in a innercity hotel - there is a tram stop more or less outside the door...

It was busy and so without a reservation, we needed to sit inside (shame but our mistake for a popular place). Wonderful fish meal and yes the Tsatsiki is superb and garlicky. The 2 digestivs gratis were a lovely touch. The meals are very generous and so we shared a fish meal with an additional side serving of vegetables and it was more than enough
