Things to do in Atyrau
It is kind of a hidden gem for Atyrau. It is on the high street Satpayeva, in front of the Rubin buildings but because of the parking lot and some trees etc, not very visible from the road itself if you are not specifically looking for it.It is a nice, under-toned decorated place with light pastel walls and light brown wooden furnitures. Due to the fact that it is located under a living complex, ceiling is low, a standrd apartment height therefore not very airy but due to color palette, definetly not suffocating.I think I've heard some Georgian speaking staff in kitchen, therefore you can be sure the food is proper Georgian. I can also confirm that, Pirosmani is the most solid Georgian Cuisine I could find in Atyrau compared to my experiences during my time in Tbilisi in 2008-2009.Menu has English translations so expats won't have trouble understanding the dishes.Pricewise it follows Atyrau standards and due to the fact that this place is not trying to be a luxury club / restaurant, Pirosmani is average priced. I have only visited here once and during my visit I have seen an other expat table, so I do not know why this place was not previously reviewed. I think this place deserves more attention for people who wants some good quality variety among gazillions of copy paste "Italian, Japanese, American, Turkish, Kazakh, Korean - we have all cusines but we don't do any of them properly" restaurants in the city.
This retaurant is placed 2nd floor of Baizaar shopping mall and recently it became our mandotory place to have lunch after weekly sunday shopping in Marco. Place is large with comfortable seatings. Staff is friendly, service has acceptable speed. They have a huge menu with many options from Ozbek, Kazakh and Georgian Cousine. Have kids menu, deserts and drinks. I especially like the Georgian food, they make it the way it is supposed to be made with good craftmanship and the taste reminds me the good old daysI had spent in Tbilisi.Pricewise they are quite competetive and offer a great price performance value. I mean, prices are equal to or a bit lower than their competitors but the taste and the quality of the food just beats nearly every other restaurant in the city.If you are into central asian / caucass cousine, give here a try. An enjoyable meal will be waiting you.

The manager or owner was very nice and greeted me. I enjoyed the beyti kebab and the adana kebabs. Overall a decent place to hang out especially after shopping at the bazaar Rahat across the street. They once gave me free tea!
