Ordered the Elam salad as part of a large lunch group. Our lunch was late because they donât accept orders any earlier than 11:00. I loved my salad, and the dressing was homemade, tasty, and served on the side. I heard rave reviews about the fried green tomato sandwich. The fried pickles did not translate well in a to-go order. While tasty, the breading seemed to separate from the pickle, and the presentation was a sloppy, greasy pile.

Never thought I would have collards better than Asheville, however, these collards, this meal, fantastic, fried okra and pickles, pulled, collards, buffalo fried chrome bites, I just canât explain the atmosphere, the Amazing Food and the service before a Kenny Chesney concert, Amazing. This was a great spot to take our nephew and his family of 5 after a t-ball game. Noisy enough so that our family catching up didn't matte. A favorite place of theirs. Everyone cleaned their plates, so that's always a good indicator. The bill for 7 of us came to $76, so not bad.
